In an effort to continue keeping the Noomle.com engine clean, search engine friendly and free of websites and material that violates our TOS, we are now offering two additional sections that our community can use to report violations within the directory and parking system of the Noomle.com engine.

The safety of Noomle system is the safety of your business, money and all the time you invested in your portfolio, and you have the rights to protect it by reporting your concerns about other sites that share the Noomle system with your sites.

With your assistance, we have kept the Noomle Forum very clean and safer place for the entire community to enjoy, and now we are expanding the Reporting System to the directory as well as to the parking system.

Two sections are located in the “Private Messages to Staff” section at the bottom of the Noomle forum. In case you find any website listed in the directory violating the terms and conditions of the Noomle directory including but not limited to ( listing in wrong category, listing of non Noomle sites, …etc ,). Or you have concerns about a website in the parking system including but not limited to site without content , pornography, copyright infringement…etc, (you can check our Terms and Conditions) you can report and post a thread in the Directory Reporting Section or in Noomle Sites Reporting.

The newly created sections are private, which means that any thread or post you submit, can only be seen by you and the Noomle staff. Your user name and your information will not be mentioned in the communications between the staff and the party that violate the TOS.

Process – How to use the reporting feature:

1. When you find a site that violates the TOS, or have a concern about a specific area in the site, please go to Private Messages to staff section, find find the appropirate category to post in (Noomle Directory or Sites)
2. Submit your thread and include your concern and description of the matter, the URL of the site, and if it is a directory issue, please include the category.
3. As we get your report, our staff will investigate the matter, and we will submit the result to the thread.
4. If there is a violation, we will contact the member (owner of the site) about the violation and require them to fix it within 48 hours; If there is no response we will disable the site in question until the issue is fixed.
5. The decisions of Noomle staff are the second to last stage in the decision making process. Should the rare case occur where you, the reporting member disagrees with the decision made, Noomle Management can be involved in resolving any questions.

Why is the general safety and cleanliness of the Noomle Network important?

1. Keeping the Noomle network safe, strong and search engine friendly, will have a good impact on your portfolio.
2. To help you to clean your sites and correct any violation(s) that may cause your site to perform bad in the search engines rank or may cause your site to be penalized by search engines.
3. Give the ability to the community members to address their concerns and follow up with it until a resolution is produced

Important:

1. We assume that users are not blatantly or viciously violating the Noomle.com TOS – mistakes happen.
2. When you receive a communication by email or via pm in the forum about any of your sites that have violated the TOS, we assume that it was a simple oversight or misconfiguration. Repeated violations will be addressed on an individual basis.
3. We encourage you to resolve any issue that's brought to your attention as soon as possible to help your site, and your portfolio to perform better.

Rachid, one of the reasons that I was attracted to the Noomle system and decided to invest a lot of time and energy into developing my sites here was the fact that I found Noomle to be very easy to use and I liked the fair, friendly, and professional manner that you have handled things since the very beginning. If I receive an email from you concerning one of my sites I will give it my outmost attention, as it is my intention to remain in good standing with Noomle.

Although I agree that it is important for Noomle sites to abide by the rules and to have a certain level of quality but, the way the community reporting system is set up right now it leaves a lot of room for abuse especially by some of the members who might use this system in an unfair manner to achieve their own personal agendas.

OldTimer , i do see what you talking about , but it will not happened because it is up to the staff to make the last decesion about the report if it is accurate , as i stated above , we will have to investigate first the matter before we go to the next step witch is posting the result in the thread

result means 2 options

either the report is accurate in that case we will post in the thread that the report is accurate and we will assure the member who report that we will be following with the member who owns the site

or if the report is not accurate we will correct and explain to the member who reported why we will not take an action ,

with time if some one is abusing the report system for his/ her agenda they will show up easy beause of multiple non complete report

so as you see there will be no abuse of the system , even if some one is trying to, it will be stopped in the step of investigation

as firefly said , we need to stay clean with the search engine and other systems that we all try to use in our sites , this reporting system is not created to penalize, it was created to keep the network clean and build it the right way to preform better for every one.
